Merrell 1TRL

1TRL is the Gorpcore premium lifestyle section of performance outdoor brand, Merrell. For this project I reviewed the performance of the user experience and e-commerce visual identity for the brand. Merrell wanted to improve the performance of the product range in 1TRL and create a unique feel that truly reflected the new Gorpcore image across all touch points of e-commerce.

Performance Review

Reviewing the performance of the existing 1TRL experience and finding the biggest problems to inform the projects goals.

Data Driven Design

My approach to design uses data to understand problems, create solutions and inform design decisions. I have experience in using software including Content Square and Google Analytics to understand key trends and performance metrics.

Guidelines Creation

The project involved re-designing the brand and creating consistency across e-commerce brand guidelines.

High Fidelity Design

Creating mock-ups of the whole user experience from navigation, landing pages, PLP’s & PDP’s, marketing and email. Creating mock-ups of each element of e-commerce provided consistency in the visual identity across the project.

Review

Feedback from the agency and brand team was integral to the design development.
